7th National Course on Social Protection PFM
The SPFMSP project is implementing a number of capacity development initiatives in partnership with the Social Protection Budgetary Management Unit (SPBMU), Finance Division, and the six Line Ministries. The major activities in this area will include national and international training programmes for suitable Government of Bangladesh officials. These training programmes aim to cover the different aspects of social protection relevant to the objectives of the project and to enable policy-level officials to acquire knowledge on best global practices in social protection.
In that relation, a National Social Protection Public Financial Management Course was organised during July 23-25, 2017 at the training center of the Department of Women’s Affairs, New Eskaton Road, Dhaka.
The course was inaugurated by Mahmuda Sharmeen Benu, Additional Secretary and Director General of Department of Women’s Affairs, while Mr. Siddiqur Rahman Choudhury, Team Leader, SPFMSP Project; Alexandra Hammer, Project Coordinator, Maxwell Stamp PLC were present along with the participants.
The second batch of the training was held during July 30 – August 1, 2017.
